Oh, the unofficial beginning of summer. Summer - a time of outdoor fun, activities galore and hopefully some R&R. Scott is in the middle of the U.S. this weekend (Kansas) while the girls and I hang out here in rainy/balmy NC. Here's a peek at our shopping cart in preparation for a weekend away from the watchful eye of the King.
Sidney's class had a performance Thursday night at the PTA meeting. I absolutely love our school and the programs that the music department does with the kids is so great. Not only is it a great experience for the kids, but it's also wonderful for the parents :-)
She's up in the top left, but you can't see her from the pics.
She's in the top left a couple of rows down, not sure if you can see her in this video..
(Got to love the idiot there filling with his laptop - You'd think if he could afford an Apple he would have a smaller means to film a school program...)

Lily is in the Pack club at school. It's a club for 3rd-5th graders and she gets to do morning announcements once per quarter. I finally got a chance to go see her do it on Friday morning.
Here she is with her classmate Yanary practicing before the bell
Lots of things planned for the upcoming month of June, including a weekend getaway to the beach, SIDNEY'S 7th birthday (June 8), end of school (June 10), Scott's hernia surgery and Father's Day. I will probably need another vacation by July... lol!
