Sidney's First Day..

Today was Sidney's first day of kindergarten. She was so excited to go to school, she's been talking about it forever...or at least since Lily started 2 years ago. She did really well. She loves her new teacher (Mrs. Foster, who also taught Lily's K class). I could tell she was a bit apprehensive of the other kids in class, but I think by the end of the day she felt a lot better. She was full of stories about playtime, lunchtime and naptime. She even talked about the "handsome" boy in her class - ut oh...here we go...

Someone told me when Lily went, a good idea was to take a 1st day pic beside a landmark that you can watch grow w/ the child. Hence, the maple tree that was first planted when Lily started school. So, we use that each year, so we can watch them grow toge
