So far, this has been a fun weekend! Not to mention the awesome weather we are having...windows open, coats put away and 70s ....ahhhhh!
To start the weekend, we attended the Ringling Bros Circus at the RBC Center. The circus sure has changed since I was a kid. Music, lights, action...but the clowns were still there and the best parts (to me at least) were still the elephants, tigers and the trapeze artists. Lily and Sidney can't seem to pick a favorite part. Sidney loved the miniature horses running around the ring. She wants some so she can lead Thor around the yard. She also loved the dog show - she freaked out when the Jack Russell came out and was catching frisbees, she says that she wants to teach Spurs how to do it too. Lily said she wanted to ride an elephant and she liked the horses too. Scott liked the motorcycle stuff and the bouncing guys (see below)
My new camera took lots of cool videos, here's some of the highlights. (1) Trick riding (2) Tigers (3) Pole acrobats (4) Bouncy things (I don't know how else to describe it, but I want one!)
Saturday
We went to the Celebrity Dair Farm with our neighbor friends. The kids had a blast just being together. No baby births while we were there, but you can see they found plenty to do. Pet goats, play in bird baths (they were making pasta), climbing a huge haystack, swinging, etc.
We topped off the day with a stop at Dairy Queen and some I-C-E cream. It was a great day and I had an awesome time getting some "girl time" in with Krissi :)
This poor goat looked like she was ready to have her baby
The kids said they were "making pasta" in the bird bathe...
Goat everywhere...and mud too
Climbing the haystack...
Checking out the pigs...
Krissi and Thor checking out the goats...
The 3 musketeers evaluating the situation..
Just a swingin'....
