September Was Full of Fun

Where has this year gone?    September flew by us.  The kids were tracked out, which always throws a new dynamic into the "routine".    However, it also allowed us to take a much needed break and have some fun!

Before tracking out, Sidney's class put on a great performance for PTA night.

Next, we headed North to WV to visit family and cheer on the Mountaineers against Norfolk St.  This was the girls first official WVU game.

It would not be a WVU game without hanging out with Bill

A little post-game tailgating with Bill.  It was so hot, the girls decided to play with the available ice and were soak and wet, but had such a great time running around the tents.

We took the bus in from the Coliseum to the game.  Here the girls are hanging out with Jerry West.

So, definitely the worst part of our trip was missing our bus back to the Coliseum, and then  trekking to the PRT to find out it had just closed.  While, our KSA, Scott, hiked to get the car, the girls and I waited  at a parking lot by the entrance of the football stadium.   There were people hanging out playing cornhole and they had a couple of really nice little girls.  Sidney and Lily quickly made friends and proceeded to play "roll down the hill" with them.

All we need is some grass, a hill and we are happy

Sunday, we spent the morning exploring the campus with the girls.

It wouldn't be a visit to Morgantown without a stop at Cooper's Rock

Enjoying the view

The view is as spectacular as I remember

Upon returning from vacation - Scott and Lily passed their karate test and are now GREEN Belts.   Very proud of them!!
