Planting, Cleaning, Painting, Hunting, Eating...Happy Easter!

Although I terribly missed my family this weekend, it was a great opportunity to catch up on some much needed things around the house.

Friday we planted and groomed the outside. I cleaned the girls playroom and we dyed Easter Eggs.

Saturday was another busy day. The day started w/ an Easter egg hunt with the neighborhood gang. Scott put a picnic table together, our patio set was falling apart and we replaced it w/ a sturdy picnic table. I gave the house a good cleaning. Krissi and Brandon got Thor a trampoline for his birthday, so the kids spent the late afternoon and evening bouncing in their new cage.
We teamed together w/ the Mace's and had a cookout w/ fabulous burgers and Krissi salad - YUM!!

Sunday began w/ sugar awaiting the girls from the Easter Bunny. Then, Scott fixed a fabulous dinner that included...ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans & corn, mac and cheese and rolls. Terry, the girls and Scott's mom came over and we all feasted. Finishing it off w/ my gourmet (Lol) cake that I managed to whip up.

• Easter Bunny found our house and brought lots of sugar. Lily is eating powdered sugar out of a plastic carrot and Sidney is showing off her blue peep...
