We gotten our "big" winter storm in NC last Friday night. It was 12 days after a thunderstorm in winter, so the old wives tale was very close. The kids had a blast out in the cold and snow. Unfortunately they were off for 3 days from school and it was only 5 inches of snow/ice. Gotta love the Southeast...
